Islay

This most loved of whisky islands sits off the west coast of Scotland and is a place of pilgrimage for fans of its iconic peated drams, who flock to visit especially during the Fèis Ìle at the end of May each year. Islay is home to eight working distilleries, associated mostly with pungent smoky whiskies but with variation between the different producers.
