Mannochmore

Fiirst Society bottling in 1989.

A large (six stills) modern complex, built by DCL adjacent to their distillery at Glenlossie (which is rated Top Class) and it is licensed to John Haig & Co. It draws its water from the Mannoch Hills but never made the top class grade, and was mothballed in 1985. Re-opened in 1989, it was, for a while, responsible for the now collectable oddity Loch Dhu The Black Whisky.
