Yoichi

First Society bottling in 2002.

The only distillery on Japan's northern island, Hokkaido, was also the first whisky distillery founded in Japan in 1934 by the father of Japanese whisky and the founder of Nikka Distilleries, Masataka Taketsuru. It was created, very much on the Scottish model with stone buildings and pagoda roofs.
