It was love at first nosing for the panel with this one. Immediate beauty, harmonious complexity and pure elegance were all remarked upon. We noted lemon cheesecake, olive oil, nectar, mandarin liqueur, subtle waxes, green tea, sage, buttered crumpets and furniture polish. After some very carful and slight dilution we got white pepper, truffled risotto, camphor, a variety of ointments, herb-infused oil, lapsang souchong and earthen floored wine cellars. To taste this one was just sublime. All on honeyed waxes, interweaving green and tropical fruits, lemon cough sweets, almond paste, soot, mango lassi, mint sauce and distant vanilla. A little water gave aged mead, candle wax and sooty butterscotch. Compelling and totally beautiful.
