Glen Mhor

First Society bottling in 1988.

Experts have referred to this Inverness malt as a typical Highland. The Great Glen distillery was built across the road from its sister, Glen Albyn, by James MacKinlay and an ex-provost of Inverness. It was equipped with the first mechanical maltings in Scotland. Demolished in the mid-1980s to make way for a shopping complex.
