The smallest distillery in Scotland, and among the prettiest, this is well preserved as a thriving example of a typical farm distillery. It is run by only three people. For most of this century the distillery was owned by William Whitely (The Dean of Distillers), and the malt was almost unavailable until it was bought by Campbell Distillers in 1992. It is now owned by Signatory.
