Caperdonich

First Society bottling in 1987.

Built as Glen Grant No.2, just across the road, and using the same water source and the same malt, it produced an entirely different whisky. It suffered from the collapse of the whisky market in 1900 and was closed 1901-1965. In 1967, it extended from two to four stills. Lighter than Glen Grant, and not bottled by its owners (Seagrams), it is rare.
